Creator Ashley Morrison  brings a lot of diversity and well-traveled eye to Ashchitect Studios. As a native Texan, she had a lot of exposure to architecture in the big city of Houston where she was born and raised. She frequently traveled to Mexico to visit her extended family growing up, which extended her knowledge in differentiating design styles in the architectural and design world.

As a young adult, Ashley traveled extensively with peers, family, her husband, and even on her own. Her travels to Mexico, Canada, Peru, Roatan, Sicily, Italy, Turkey, and many more U.S. cities highly influenced her worldview and her understanding of design in various cultures. Through these lens, she quickly fell in love with the idea that each design has a story to tell.

After many years of working in the commercial corporate world, Ashley decided to launch her own business in the beginning of 2022. Her decision was driven by her desire to spend more time with her husband and baby, Evan and Ava. During her downtime, you will find Ashley devoting her time to her family, her church, and her passions, which include creating art, writing, and fitness and health.
